I need some chalkboard action

I know we've all blogged about chalkboard this and chalkboard that.

But check out Jessica's home office that was just featured on Apartment Therapy.

She also has a chalkboard in the bathroom. And a clawfoot tub that will make you srsly jealous, so don't even go look.

I will never get tired of chalkboards, I'm pretty sure. And yes, her bathroom makes me want to smash all the ugly tile in my bathroom to smithereens.

i want a whole chalkboard wall somewhere. can you imagine the fun of a massive, week-long game of tic tac toe? (i would totally beat Boyfriend).

how much would my no-painting-allowed landlady kill me for a whole chalkboard wall?

Hey, cool! Thanks for featuring my blackboard obsession. I do love them so, and will probably become know as the scary blackboard lady.

It is very fun to write on the walls. You do have to be careful when friends come over because they will leave you notes. Usually some snide remark about what a douche I am, or something along those lines and if I'm not paying attention it could be up there for days. Still well worth it.

Thanks again!

I do not, however, have a tub that cool. That is one beautiful tub. Man oh man!

Chalkboards are so great in theory... in practice they tend to leave your hand covered in white dust and have that smell that evokes memories of 2nd grade (not my best year). I really do wish I loved them more. :/

I hate that squeaky sound that sometimes happens with them. Ick. And also how they feel when you touch them. Ick. But they are pretty.

Someone sent me this and I have it bookmarked for my (chalkboard-painted) office! I'm thankfully not chalkboarded out yet, since black paint is hard to cover up. BTW, adding you on my b'roll. I decided if I'm stopping by everyday during my b'fast, I might as well give you a little space over there:)
